SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. – Dr. Tim Mullaly, chief economist, FedEx Corporate Economics Department is slated to be one of five keynote speakers at the National Defense Transportation Association-U.S. Transportation Command Fall Meeting, Oct. 7 to 10, 2019, at Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri.

For the past 18 years, Dr. Mullaly has worked at FedEx, which participates in the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) program. Established in 1951, as an agreement between the Department of Commerce and the DOD, CRAF augments defense airlift needs during emergencies when the requirements exceed military aircraft capabilities. FedEx is one of 13 commercial carriers that combined — provide over 250 airplanes in the long-range international section.

Since April 2014, Mullaly has served in his current position forecasting economic indicators relevant to FedEx and the American economy. In addition, he provides analysis to senior management on economic conditions nationally and internationally. Before joining FedEx, Mullaly taught macroeconomics at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Those interested in attending Dr. Mullaly’s presentation and other Fall Meeting activities can register at https://www.ndtahq.com/events/fall-meeting/ and they also have the option to “register now/pay later!”
